We encourage our students to ask questions about the world around them.
Our science curriculum emphasizes strong observation skills of relevant phenomena and challenges our students to form theories or hypotheses closely based on their observations and the background information we provide them . We also encourage our children to connect their prior knowledge to the big science ideas we are exploring.

In 21-22, our curriculum was guided by the following question: how is the Earth changing over time? At the start of the year, we asked our students to explain why we find similar fossil bones in places that are far away from each other. Students were then exposed to readings and movies about the effect of tectonic plates, and  tasked to create a model representing what they thought was happening.
