Last week, the New Jersey Department of Education (NJDOE) released annual School Performance Reports, which includes assessment, student growth, and accountability data for all public school districts in New Jersey. The released data shows that 21 public charter schools “exceed standards” on student growth set by NJDOE’s accountability framework, ranking in the top 15% of districts statewide. Public charter schools are accelerating learning for students faster than their statewide peers in under-resourced communities like Paterson, Newark, East Orange, Plainfield, Jersey City, Asbury Park, Perth Amboy.

Discovery has available seats to start 4th grade in September 2023. You can apply then register your child right here on our website.
There are also still a few spots available for current 4th graders.

On Thursday March 4 at 6:00pm, students will present visual and performing art pieces that they have been working on with Ms. Gibson, Mr. Pyle, and on their own.

Discovery is resuming classes on Tuesday September 8. While some of our students will return to our building on 240 Halsey, other students will continue working from home.

Buy your tickets for our shows on Friday 2/16 at 7:00pm, Saturday 2/17 at 2:00 pm. You can also buy tickets at the school.

Due to the weather conditions, Discovery is closed on Tuesday February 13, 2024. We will see you on Wednesday.
