Cheryl Rogers

Cheryl has been a teacher of English Language Arts in Newark schools since 2010.  Before that time, she worked in the fields of acting, performing arts education, philanthropy and journalism with such New York organizations as Circle in the Square Theatre, Chautauqua Institution, The Commonwealth Fund, Ms. magazine and WNYC - New York Public Radio.  During that period, she also continued to pursue her career as a professional actor.

 

Cheryl received her B.A. in Theatre Studies from Yale University, her graduate acting training from Circle in the Square Theatre in New York and her education training through the Center for Effective School Practices at Rutgers University here in Newark.
