Discovery Charter School recognizes that wellness and proper nutrition relate to student and employee physical well-being, growth, development, and productivity. Our Wellness Committee is committed to promoting a school and work environment that encourages and supports wellness, proper nutrition, nutrition education, and regular physical activity as important components of daily life, which will lead to improved student achievement, employee productivity, and overall healthy lifestyle changes.   For more on Discovery Charter School wellness and nutrition, please read our policy on "Wellness Policy/Nutrient Standards for Meals and Other Foods" below.
