Kevin Pyle is the author and illustrator of several graphic novels. He has done illustrations for the New York Times, the New Yorker and a wide range of publications. His work has been displayed at Mass MOCA, the Cooper Hewitt Museum of Design, and numerous galleries. He began teaching in 2005 as component of his book events as a professional graphic novelist. He has since taught comics, illustration and arts integration in a variety of school environments and grade levels. Before coming to Discovery he was a teaching artist for Young Audiences and a variety of arts organizations for over ten years. During that time he also worked as a Creative Consultant working closely with teachers creating and implementing arts integration lessons connected to specific content goals. Kevin lives in Montclair with his wife, son, dog and two cats. In his spare time he enjoys drawing, reading, traveling, hiking and playing tennis.
