Social Studies & Law

Discovery teaches history, civics and sociological/psychological studies through the prism of studying from primary resource materials, court opinions and clinical programs. Students learn about our government and laws as a living, breathing collective which not only has a direct impact on their lives, but which they can influence and impact for the greater good. We combine both the discovery and Socratic methods of learning to encourage our students to not only explore the field of law as a possible career choice, but to also adopt the skills of critical thinking, logical reasoning, public speaking and polished writing towards any venture they choose.
